After finalizing the first phase of the studiOpera project – a country-level research stage – the strengths and limitations of the current training offer in Romania for the field of performing arts have been identified and the needs of the Bucharest National Opera have been assessed.
A transnational team of researchers formed of five Romanian experts and three Italian experts took 100 interviews, out of which: 65 in 11 theatres and institutes of performing arts, 30 interviews in 19 training institutions and 5 interviews in 5 other institutions that play an important role in the Romanian cultural and training system. The professional profiles involved in the research covered four areas: management, artists, technical-artistic profiles, stage and workshop technicians, and a union representative active in ONB.
The most important conclusions of the research stage are gathered in the Summary of the Research Report.
