In the period October 27th - 29th, 2010 the international meeting dedicated to the Opera Studios was held in Amsterdam. The event was organized by the Opera Studio Nederland (the studio affiliated to the opera house in Amsterdam – De Nederlandse Opera), on the occasion of celebrating 20 years since its founding. The conference was dedicated to the memory of Hans de Roo, ex general manager of the opera in Amsterdam, who died unexpectedly in 2000, appreciated as being a supporter of young artists at the beginning of their career.
The participants in this conference representing the Bucharest National Opera were: Roxandra Tabacaru Hogea, coordinator of the Ballet and Opera Experimental Studio “Ludovic Spiess” (SEOB), studiOpera project manager and Maria Popa, ballet projects coordinator of SEOB and member of the studiOpera project team.
On Friday, October the 29th, our team held a presentation about the activity of the Studio and about the studiOpera project. The presentation aroused the interest of the participants, more than 70, receiving appreciation for the large number of programs developed by SEOB, as well as for the variety of the performances, and the studiOpera project benefited from the same remarkable appreciation.
